Position: Enterprise Technical Consultant

Job Duties: Successful candidate will provide Enterprise Content and Process management system implementation and support services for customers at different locations. Understand and advise customers on moderately complex designs and product issues. Estimate time frames, quality, and quantity of resources required to successfully implement project and develop project plan incorporating all project variables. Ensure appropriate company resources are assigned to complete project tasks according to plan. Establish criteria concerning ability to deliver, performance, maintenance, design, and costs. Support end-user installations, configurations, upgrades and migrations through problem isolations, verification, resolution and documentation. May include supporting 3rd party products and occasional on-site support; Provides support for Pre-Sales and Post-Sale activities.

Skills Required: Excellent oral and written communication skills involving technical and management-level audiences, Demonstrates initiative, teamwork and problem solving skills.
Knowledge of RDBMS technology and XML expertise; Knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis and Design; Knowledge of various Unix Operating Systems (AIX, HP-UX, SUN) and Microsoft Windows 2000/2003/XP; Technical project management knowledge; Strong customer relations skills; Knowledge of FileNet ECM and BPM preferred.

Experience Required: 3 to 5 years technical support experience is preferred. Must have ability to understand and explain technical issues; Strong Unix (AIX, HP-UX, SUN, Linux) and NT/W2K knowledge; Oracle, MSSQL, DB2 Server database knowledge; Strong fundamentals about current industry technologies, trends and techniques (J2EE and Microsoft technologies COM+); Able to work effectively independently or as part of a team; B.S. Computer Science, Engineering or related experience. C/C++, .NET, and J2EE development experience a plus.

Additional Remarks: Travel requirements 50%+; Can be home office based. Must be able to manipulate a computer keyboard and mouse; must be able to verbally converse, both in person and on the telephone, in English; must be able to travel (unaided) as frequent travel may be required. Willing to learn and be trained on FileNet product suites when required.
